The reason we decided to rename ourselves is because 'Lakeside Community Seventh-day Adventist Church' is more inviting for the community other than the standard formal Church name which usually features the Suburb the Church is in and what denomination it is. 'Lakeside Community Seventh-day Adventist Church' or shorter 'Lakeside Adventist Community' will be used more for Community outreach and for our Online presence while 'Pakenham Seventh-day Adventist Church' will remain the official name of the Church and be used for Legal documents etc.
